Our team of motivated and innovative engineers has the background and resources needed to pursue different devices geared for startup point-of-care devices. Our expertise ranges from materials and processing research to in-depth understanding of biological systems.

Team Members 

Noel Navarro: Project Manager that oversees the entire group and makes sure deadlines are met.  Has experience in project management as well as product design, experience from working at Freudenberg Medical and Edwards Lifesciences.

Ashleigh Estes: Lean Manufacturing and Marketing Analyst in charge of researching and implementing manufacturing techniques for device manufacturing and surveying potential customers to make sure their need is met; has experience talking to patients from working at a hospital and research experience from working at a research lab at UCI.

Josvan Rodriguez: Research and Development Engineer in charge mainly with the development or sensors and circuit integration as well as biological background.  Has research experience from working at Doheny Eye Institute.

James Harvey: Product Design Engineering in charge of the design and optimization of the mechanical systems.  Has research experience in material science and mechanical systems.

Tasnim Ahmed: Research and Development Engineer in charge of the research, design of experiment, and the testing of prototypes.  Has experience in product development from her internship at Epinex Diagnostics.

Richard Henson: CEO of PhageTech.  LLC a development stage company based on novel diagnostic technology recently developed in UC Irvine.  He is a board member of OCTANe and member of the Chancellor’s CEO Roundtable at UC Irvine and serves as a mentor to our team.
