What is the HYDROMO?

The HYDROMO dehydration monitor is a retrofit for existing urinals that transforms a regular urinal into a smart urinal.  The device will attach to the posterior wall of the urinal and will record and analyze hydration levels in real-time, which will provide users with immediate feedback.  This device can be installed in public restrooms such as schools, in businesses, and gyms allowing people to self-test whenever they use the restroom.  As opposed to other devices, such as wearable hydration sensors, Liquidus’ urinal retrofit measures hydration without requiring the user to change his daily habits.  All men use the restroom at least once a day; hence, this device is embedded into the customer’s regular routine.  Furthermore, since men look forward when using the urinal, the screen that will output hydration results will be placed on the upper section of the urinal.  Thus, the user will not have to look into the urinal for his hydration results.  The first device developed by Liquidus Diagnostics will focus on men, but the device will later be adapted as a toilet retrofit for both males and females

Design

The HYDROMO Display

The HYDROMO display will be mounted on top of the urinal.  The display will have an array of LEDs that will light up depending on the user’s hydration level.  Eventually, Liquidus Diagnostics plans on upgrading the top display with a tablet like display.
